Viewing 1099s, Run & Owner Statements
1099s, Run Statements, and Owner Statements can be viewed through Pak Exchange using the tabs on the left-hand side of the screen. All are viewed in the same way. Clicking on the “1099,” “Run Statements,” or “Owner Statements” tab on the left-hand side of your screen will pull up any “1099,” “Run Statements,” or “Owner Statements” that have been received through Pak Exchange. All of the documents in Pak Exchange have the option to be downloaded to your personal desktop for easy access or exported to another location. The table that pulls up is different for each tab. However, each table contains important information for each type of document, like the status of the document and who sent you the document. If any of the information on the 1099, Run Statements, or Owner Statements is incorrect, you will have to contact the entity that sent it to you.
Unsigned Division Orders
To process a division order that you have received, you can either use the graph on your home screen or click on the “Division Orders” tab on the left-hand side of your Home screen. If you choose to click on the “Division Orders” tab on the left-hand side of your Home screen, please find the Division Order that has a Status of “New.”
After clicking on the Division Order either from the graph on the Home screen or from the tab on the left-hand side of your screen, a copy of the Division Order will open in a new screen.
This screen not only allows you to view the Division Order, but this is where you can download a copy of the Division Order or Sign and Return the Division Order. In the example below, please notice that Pak Exchange has already filled in some of the required information for you in order to sign and return the Division Order. This is called Click to Fill & Remember. The Click to Fill & Remember option can be used for all fields and saves the user from typing in the information manually, reducing typing errors and other mistakes. As more documents are coded, the system will remember the selections made and review the general area to fill in or make suggestions for future documents automatically. The suggestions will improve as the Pak Exchange Network processes more documents and gets “smarter,” making inputting documents easier.
To Sign and Return a Division Order:
- Click on the “Return” button.
- A blue box will appear at the top of the screen, asking that you find where you need to sign the document. Using the arrows at the top of the screen, scroll through the pages until you find where you need to sign.
- Once you have found where you need to sign, left-click in the “Owner Signature” box, hold down the mouse button, and drag through the box. Once the box is selected, let go of the left mouse button.
- A pop-up box will appear asking for your signature.
5. Using your mouse or your finger (if viewing on your mobile phone), draw your signature in the box provided and click on the “Return” button. Please notice that the “Return” button will not be able to be selected until your signature is in the box.
- There is another option to return the Division Order unsigned. While this option will send the Division Order back to whoever sent it to you, Pak Energy recommends to always return Division Orders signed. If there was a problem with the Division Order received, we recommend contacting the Party directly to get the Division Order fixed instead of sending it back to the unsigned.
